Galileo Afterschool - Photography: Grades 6-8 (Winter 26')
We’re excited to bring high-quality, creative arts programming to Galileo this quarter!
Students will learn the fundamentals of digital photography with Mustafa Hussain, a professional photographer and Teaching Artist with PCCCArts.
Students will explore visual storytelling, composition, lighting, portrait photography, and creative editing—while building confidence, teamwork, and artistic expression.
📸 Program Details
Grades: 6th–8th
Days: Mondays & Wednesdays
Time: 2:45–4:15 PM
Dates: January 12 – March 13 (9 weeks)
Students will complete photo projects, collaborate with peers, and participate in a final showcase of their work.
💵 Tuition Tiers (Choose the Level That Works for Your Family)
All students receive the same access to equipment, instruction, and showcase opportunities, regardless of tier.
Families select the tier that best matches their financial situation.
Tier 1 — $200
Equity tier for families needing support.Tier 2 — $300
Standard tuition.Tier 3 — $500
Supporter tier — helps fund scholarships, equipment, printing, exhibition materials, and supplies.
Optional recognition for supporters.

1. Sibling Discount — 50% Off Each Additional Child

For students also enrolled in Danza Folclórica, Guitar, Mariachi, etc.
3. Scholarship Support — 25% Off

No payment is taken at checkout. PCCCArts will follow up with next steps.
Scholarships are limited.
Families receiving scholarships may be invited to support the program through volunteering or fundraising.

To ensure a high-quality learning experience:
Minimum enrollment: 8 students
If the class does not reach 8 students, it will be canceled and families will receive a full refund.
Maximum enrollment: 20 students
Enrollment is first-come, first-served.
