Bring Your Artistry Into the Classroom
PCCCArts is growing—and we’re looking for Teaching Artists who want to share their creative practice with Chicago students. We're looking for artists who are passionate about their craft and excited to create meaningful learning experiences for young people.
💃 Danza Folklórica Teaching Artist
Grades 3–8
Lead students through culturally grounded dance instruction while building technique, confidence, creativity, and community.
🎧 Beat Making & Music Production Teaching Artist
Grades 6–8
Help students explore beatmaking, music production, creative technology, and self-expression through hands-on music-making.
🎨Visual Arts Teaching Artist
Grades 5-8
Lead an engaging after-school program for grades 5–8, helping students develop artistic skills, creative confidence, and cultural awareness.
Substitute Teaching Opportunities
All programs. Grades K-12

- Teaching Artist Internships 🎨
Assist in after-school and in-school arts programs across Chicago Public Schools—ranging from dance and music to visual and media arts.
- Media Internships 📸
Support documentation through photography, videography, and digital storytelling; help share our students’ creative journeys.
- Administrative & Development Internships 🗂️
Work directly with our Executive and Operations teams to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit management, fundraising, and event coordination.
- Volunteer Opportunities 🤝
Join our team at community events and performances such as Navy Pier Fresh Fest, RE•VER•BER•ATE, and the Chicago International Salsa Congress.
