OUR MISSION

PCCCArts bridges the opportunity gap in arts education by partnering with schools and community institutions to deliver culturally grounded arts programs that empower individuals and communities to express themselves, take creative risks, and build meaningful connections.

Through in-school, afterschool, and community-based programming, we provide equitable access to high-quality cultural and contemporary arts experiences for youth, families, and lifelong learners. Serving over 2,000 participants annually across Chicago, our work strengthens artistic competencies, fosters social-emotional growth, develops critical thinking, builds community, and uplifts diverse cultural traditions. We are equally committed to fostering ongoing professional development, ensuring that we continue to grow as culturally responsive leaders. We believe access to transformative arts education should not be a privilege, but a shared community right.

OUR VISION

We envision thriving communities where creativity is accessible to all, cultural identity is honored, and artistic expression unlocks confidence, leadership, and belonging.

We believe the arts cultivate collaboration, empathy, discipline, innovation, and critical thinking — skills essential to both personal growth and collective progress. PCCCArts strives to reshape systems of access in arts education so that every person — regardless of background or circumstance — can experience the transformative power of culturally rooted arts learning and become a confident, creative, and successful contributor to society. Through sustained partnerships, innovative programming, and community collaboration, we aim to cultivate a more vibrant, equitable, and connected future that endures for generations..

Continuing Artistic Legacy

We believe that the arts are a vehicle for celebrating diversity and promoting inclusion, creating sustainable connections to community and networks that afford greater opportunities. By providing accessible educational programs designed and delivered by qualified instructors, partnering with schools and community centered organizations in spaces conceptualized to showcase the artistic works of local students, we intend to close the gap in art education.

PCCCArts (501c3) is committed to its mission and understands that accessibility to quality art programs is essential to the development of our youth. Therefore, no student, family or community partner will be turned away for the inability to pay
