6. Scholarships and Financial Assistance

PCCCArts may collect information voluntarily provided by families requesting scholarships, reduced tuition, payment accommodations, or other forms of financial assistance.

This information is used to evaluate requests, administer financial assistance, and maintain appropriate program and financial records.

For independently operated programs, PCCCArts requests appropriate media permissions through registration or other consent procedures.

Parents, guardians, or eligible participants may decline optional promotional media consent without automatically losing eligibility to participate in educational programming.

PCCCArts seeks to honor documented media restrictions and maintains procedures for communicating relevant restrictions to authorized personnel.

Additional Protections for School Partnerships

When activities involve CPS students or students participating through another school district:

  • Photography, video, audio recording, and publication must comply with applicable district policies and permissions.

Information shared is limited to what is reasonably necessary for the authorized purpose.

For CPS student information, third-party access and storage are subject to CPS disclosure, approval, security, and contractual requirements. A service provider's inclusion in this general Privacy Policy does not independently authorize that provider to process CPS student data.

PCCCArts does not disclose personally identifiable student records to donors or funders for marketing purposes.

We may disclose information when required by applicable law, lawful process, or an authorized school district obligation.

12. Data Security and Access Controls

Student data governed by a school district agreement will be returned, deleted, or otherwise handled according to that agreement and applicable law.

Financial records may be retained for longer periods where necessary for accounting, tax, audit, or legal compliance.

14. Data Security Incidents

PCCCArts takes suspected unauthorized access, disclosure, loss, or misuse of personal information seriously.

When a potential data security incident is identified, PCCCArts will take appropriate steps to assess the situation, restrict further unauthorized access, preserve relevant information, and determine applicable notification and remediation obligations.
